Didn’t do too much for a couple of days, the car was in for diagnosis and parts ordering on Thursday. The CV joints and drive axle from the front diff to the front wheel all have to be replaced. Some parts will be coming from Perth and another has to be flown in from the East coast, which will take a week. Fortunately they kept the car going so at least we have a two wheel drive car in the meantime.

The weather has been unseasonally hot here (so the locals say) and Judy has been having frequent ducnks in the pool to keep cool.

We have also ordered a rooftop tent for the car which will also take a week or so to get here. This will allow more comfortable 4WD trips and mean we don’t have to camp in a flimsy tent on the ground in Croc Country.
